This Thursday, families can head to Chuck E. Cheese locations across the U.S. and Canada for a chance to win one of 500 free birthday parties for kids.
According to an Aug. 28 press release, the “Chuck E. Cheese Big Day of Birthdays” will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Chuck E. Cheese locations to “celebrate the time of year with the most birthdays.”
Entry to the locations will be free and include 30 minutes of free game play fun with the purchase of 60 minutes. Live giveaway drawings will also be held for the free birthday celebrations.
One winner at each location will receive the free Ultimate Fun Birthday Party Package for up to 10 kids. These packages include all-you-can-play games, a table reserved for two hours with a party setup, a live birthday show with the Chuck E. mascot, a “ticket blaster” experience for the birthday kid, two slices of pizza per child, unlimited soft drinks, Dippin’ Dots ice cream for desert, 100 bonus e-tickets and goody bags as well as pizza and drinks for adults at the party.
Typically, Chuck E. Cheese package prices vary by location.
In Chicago, birthday package pricing ranges from $24.99 to $36.99 per child.
At each location, an additional five winners will receive a coupon voucher for $50 off their next birthday party this Thursday. Altogether, the company is giving out nearly 3,000 prizes worth $300,000 in the U.S. and Canada, excluding Quebec.
“There is no better way to celebrate that one time of the year when the most kids have birthdays than by hosting a party for all of our dedicated fans and giving back the joy our birthday parties have been bringing to kids for over 45 years,” said Chuck E. Cheese Chief Marketing Officer Sean Gleason.
For those who aren’t able to make it to a Chuck E. Cheese location this Thursday, the chain of family dining and entertainment centers is offering its “Birthday Star Free” promotion through Dec. 3. To claim, customers must use the code BDAYFREE and have a party with 12 or more paid guests for the birthday child to celebrate for free.
