An argument over a missing order at a fast food restaurant in Baton Rouge ended in gunfire when an irate customer allegedly shot at the workers, injuring one.

The incident happened just before 10 p.m. Wednesday at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on Millerville Greens Boulevard.

According to police, a customer in the drive-thru line became upset after learning that their order was given to someone else by mistake, WBRZ reported.

At some point, an employee went outside and a physical fight ensued with the customer. Another employee eventually broke up the fight and as the workers were heading back into the building, the customer allegedly fired multiple shots, police said.

The employee who fought with the customer was struck by the gunfire. Their injuries are described as non-life threatening, though the victim's condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported.

The store also sustained damage in the shooting.

The gunman fled the scene and remains at large. No description was provided.
