With the holidays and gift giving season fast approaching, the availability of iPhone 14 Pro models seems to be improving, according to reports.

The report comes from MacRumors, the site known for reporting on all things Apple. It says that the company appears to be catching up on demand after production was disrupted at several Apple manufacturing sites.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models were previously estimated to begin shipping within three to four weeks, according to Apple’s online store.

But now the tech giant’s online store is estimating quicker shipping dates for both of the pro models of its latest phone, with one to two week shipping estimates.

Apple shared in a release that the long wait times were, in part, due to disruptions seen in China following the nation’s zero-tolerance police for COVID-19.

Apple was in the spotlight throughout summer as store employees talked about unionization, which would be a first for the company.

A Baltimore store that employs more than 100 people who were eligible to vote did so in June in a 65 to 33 vote in favor of organizing, the National Labor Relations Board reported at the time.

The vote created the first union of Apple retail employees in the United States. The group calls itself the Apple Coalition of Organized Retail Employees, The New York Times reported.

More stores have since followed suit, but the National Labor Relations Board claimed that Apple violated federal law at an Atlanta location in relation to union efforts at the store, Business Insider reported.

Now, talks of the tech giant have been centered around its manufacturing sites in China that have been slowed due to COVID-19.
