A man was found fatally shot inside a home the attempted church shooter lives in

A church service in North Braddock became a scary scene on Sunday when a man pulled a gun on the pastor in the middle of his sermon.

Pennsylvania State Police have charged Bernard Polite, 26, of Braddock after he entered and attempted to shoot pastor Glenn Germany while the pastor was delivering a sermon at Jesus' Dwelling Place Church on Sunday just after 2 p.m.

It happened in an instant and Pastor Germany found himself staring down the barrel of a gun, but thankfully, no shot was fired.

Germany and another were able to keep Polite subdued until police arrived and then he was taken into custody.

Polite now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and attempted homicide.

A man was also found shot dead inside a home that Polite lives in on Stokes Avenue in North Braddock.

Police found 56-year-old Derek Polite shot to death inside the home.
