An Ontario man reported missing early Tuesday morning was found alive on Tuesday afternoon after spending nearly 20 hours pinned under his ATV.
According to Millgrove Constable Krista-Lee Ernst, Robert King, 44, was found pinned under his off-road vehicle after disappearing for almost a day.
Police and community members had searched for him through the night but were unable to find him.
Family said he had left his home on his ATV at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Six hours later, King was reported missing at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Ernst told the Hamilton Spectator.
A pair of community members located King behind a restaurant in the area. According to those who found him, King was coherent and awake when he was discovered.
He is believed to have suffered serious injuries from the incident and was transported to a hospital via helicopter.
King has since been updated to stable condition, according to local police.
