STONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - Police in Missouri are warning would-be criminals to watch what they're posting on Facebook. It could get them arrested, like it did for one man.

The Stone County Sheriff's Office in southwest Missouri says they arrested a man after he posted a photo of a catalytic converter that was for sale on Facebook Marketplace. In the background of the photo you can see a "large bag of meth" and a syringe on the coffee table.
Police say they visited the man, found the drugs and also found him to be in possession of an pistol, which he is "forbidden to own." He was arrested.
They say they learned of the photo from a tip that was given to them by a citizen.
"We have now provided him a new place to stay. Sorry folks, his catalytic converters are not for sale right now," Sheriff Rader stated. "Take note, if you are selling items on social media, make sure your drugs are not in the background!"
