Billionaire Elon Musk shared in a recent interview that he believes his estranged transgender child was “killed by the work mind virus” after he was tricked into giving his consent for the child to take puberty blockers.
“I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier,” the Tesla and X CEO shared with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson in a Daily Wire interview.
Musk, 53, vowed to “destroy” what he said was an “incredibly evil” culture that allows the gender-reassignment surgery that his 20-year-old child Vivian Jenna Wilson, born Xavier, got in 2022.
“This is before I had any understanding of what was going on. COVID was going on, so there was a lot of confusion, and I was told Xavier might commit suicide if he doesn’t,” Musk said.
Musk went on to say that it was “incredibly evil” and agreed with Peterson when he suggested that it “was a lie right from the outset” because there was no clinical evidence to support the claim.
The billionaire even suggested that he thought the “people that have been promoting this should go to prison.”
Recalling the process with his estranged child, Musk said that he “was tricked into” allowing the procedure as it was never explained to him that puberty blockers are “actually just sterilization drugs.”
“I lost my son, essentially,” Musk said. “They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead. My son, Xavier, is dead — killed by the woke mind virus.”
Musk has since made headlines for his stance against gender-reassignment procedures for kids in the wake of his child’s transition. Most recently, he vowed to move all his companies, which also includes SpaceX, from California to Texas after a law was signed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom, banning school districts from requiring parents to be notified if a child uses different pronouns.
“I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that,” Musk said. “And we’re making some progress.”
As for Vivian, court filings show that she has legally changed her gender and name, taking her mother’s last name to lose any association with her father. She said she “no longer lives with or wishes to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
