The show will go on for a “Stranger Things” Halloween display at a home in Plainfield, Illinois that was shut down.

The popular decorations are expected to be back up this weekend.

Max will rise again.  The realistic looking display outside a Plainfield home, complete with a levitating character from the Netflix series, will return. After only two nights, traffic from the display upset a neighbor and prompted the Appels to shut it down.

Creator Dave Appel shared on TikTok that the village manager is a fan of the spooky scene that was only up for a couple of nights.

“We’re just happy we can do this for you guys, and I don’t have to tear it down for another month, so if you’re saying congratulations to me, you’re saying, ‘congratulations, you don’t have to do work for another month,’ I could do little, take a break. But, I’m just so happy for you guys,” Appel said.
Appel and his wife said they’re working on a way to better manage crowds that led a neighbor to complain.

Police encourage visitors to be mindful of where they park.
