A Georgia school bus driver is facing some serious allegations after being arrested for driving drunk while transporting a busload of children.
Ginger Katz, 52, was driving students home from Piney Grove Middle School following the last day of the school year last week when she crashed her bus into another vehicle, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
Katz then blew a .204 and a .209 during breathalyzer tests administered by FCSO deputies – over twice the legal limit.
According to Forsyth County Schools, Katz was “immediately terminated” from her bus driving duties.
Katz has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol while driving a commercial vehicle, 30 counts of endangering a child by driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to yield right of way, according to charging documents.
