He previously has said cutting alcohol, walking more than 10,000 steps per day and a Mediterranean-style diet were the keys to his weight-loss. Everyone got to see the proof on Monday when he was at the premiere of Tubi’s "The Freak Brothers," also starring Pete Davidson and Blake Anderson.

Goodman, 69, was near 400 pounds at his peak weight in 2010. He told AARP that friends actually begged him to loss weight because he was breaking furniture.

“I was just shoving everything into my mouth,” he told AARP in 2018. “But I don’t want to be an example to anybody when the weight comes thundering back on — when I start eating Crisco out of the can with a spoon and a side of confectioner’s sugar.”

Goodman, who studied drama at Southwest Missouri State after growing up in St. Louis County, says he really tried to begin his transformation in 2007, but it didn't always stick.

“In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack or whatever and just go back to my old habits,” he told ABC in 2017. “This time, I wanted to do it slowly. Move, exercise. I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore.”

Then he got a personal trainer who upped his exercise to taking at least 10,000 steps per day, working out six days a week, eating meals that focus on fish, olive oil, vegetables, nuts, and fruit, and he has been sober since 2007.

After his major roles in shows and movies like "Roseanne," "The Big Lebowski," "The Babe," "The Flinstones" and voicing Disney movies like "Monsters Inc." and "The Emperor's New Groove," Goodman is now starring in "The Conners," which stars most of the original cast with the exception of Roseanne.
