Personal data of more than 100 million T-Mobile customers may be for sale online following a potential server breach.
T-Mobile is currently investigating claims of a massive customer data breach after an underground forum told Vice News that they had obtained data from over 100 million people via T-Mobile servers.
The mountain of personal data currently for sale includes names, physical addresses, social security numbers and drivers licenses.
The forum is offering a portion of the data for six bitcoins, which equates to approximately $270,000, and then plans to sell the rest privately.
The wireless network company stated that they are aware of the forum’s claims and are "actively investigating their validity."
