Trump launches his own 'Eras' T-shirts eerily similar to Taylor Swift's

After slamming pop superstar Taylor Swift for endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for president, former President Donald Trump dropped some merchandise inspired by the singer's wildly popular Eras Tour.

The Trump campaign unveiled the new merch Thursday morning on its official X account.

"Calling all Swifties for Trump," the post from Team Trump says. "Get your Trump Era shirt today."

The shirt features a black-and-white picture of Trump with a raised fist against a multicolor collage featuring various moments of his presidency -- including his mug shot and the infamous photo taken directly after his assassination attempt -- along with the text, "Donald J. Trump, Make America Great Again."

It's the exact same layout, color scheme and font as Swift's iconic Eras Tour poster and merchandise.

The shirt is listed on the official Trump store website under the headline "Look what you made me do," in a nod to one of Swift's songs. It starts at $45 and goes for as much as $1,000.

While some Swifties are calling for the pop star to sue the former president, many tagged the singer and her publicist in comments on the post, there's no indication her team is planning to launch any kind of legal attack.

"I hope you get sued within an inch of your existence. He's fixing to be in his unemployed little b***h era," one fan wrote.

"Probably thought you were in the clear because the shirt falls under parody (which it does), but you left yourselves legally exposed by using her name in the text of the tweet. enjoy the lawsuit," another commented.

"In your cease & desist era," another said.

Representatives for Swift have not publicly commented on the shirts.

When Swift gave Harris her endorsement following Tuesday's debate, she said she was motivated in part by an AI-generated recording of her falsely endorsing the former president that was posted to his campaign website.

"It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter," she wrote on Instagram.

In a post-debate interview, Trump seemingly referenced Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, saying, "Well, I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth. She’s a big trump fan. I was not a Taylor swift fan."

He went on to say, "But [Swift is] a very liberal person, she seems to always endorse a democrat, and she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace. But no, I like Brittany, I think Brittany's great. Brittany got a lot of news last week she's a big MAGA fan, that's the one I like much better than Taylor Swift."
