Twitter suffered a global outage Friday morning, causing massive disruptions for thousands of users on the social media page.
According to Downdector, an online platform which tracks website outage issues, Twitter began having problems at around 9:13 a.m. PST.

49,890 Twitter users reported having interruptions at 9:50 a.m., as pages struggled to load and error notifications popped up.
50% of people reported having problems with the website, while 40% reported having problems with the app. The remaining 10% cited server connection failures.
After 10 a.m., the issues began to diminish with only around 8,000 outages.
At 10:14 a.m. Twitter Support announced that they'd fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and tweets from posting.
"Things should be back to normal now. Sorry for the interruption!" the support team tweeted.
