SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – A video being shared across Twitter shows an apparent explosion at the Hoover Dam.

The video shows a black plume of smoke and fire in a building at the bottom of the dam. The video was recorded by Twitter user Kristy Hairston.
According to a tweet by Boulder City, Nevada officials, the Boulder City Fire Department responded to the scene, but the fire was extinguished before crews arrived.
It was not immediately clear what led to the explosion and fire.
