A fight over gym equipment turned violent when one woman bit off part of another woman's finger during an argument over a leg press machine.

The brawl happened earlier this month at a gym in Mexico, where a 44-year-old woman named Rossana accused a 66-year-old woman named Leticia of "hogging" the machine and using it for too long, The Sun reported.

When Rossana when to confront Leticia, the older woman jumped up to confront her accuser when things got physical.

Security footage published by The Sun shows the women tangled in a brawl as employees try to intervene and break up the fight, which the outlet describes as a "no-holds-barred altercation."

The video shows the women exchanging punches and grappling before Rossana appears to pull Leticia's hair and drag her across the floor. The women are then separated by bystanders.

At some point while the women were tussling, Leticia allegedly bit Rossana's finger.

According to The Sun, "gory pictures show Rossana's right hand missing the tip of its little finger. The fingertip, still with its red nail polish on, was retrieved for evidence and placed in a plastic bag."

Leticia was reportedly arrested on charges of assault.
