Two people have been arrested in the disappearance of a Los Angeles firefighter in Mexico who went missing in Tijuana.
Frank Aguilar disappeared without a trace on August 20.
The Attorney General's Office of the State of Baja California in Mexico says he had scheduled to meet up with the female suspect at a local bar, when a male suspect jumped him and attempted to kidnap him.
Prosecutors say they believe Aguilar was shot as he was trying to get away.
Both suspects were arrested yesterday and the agents who took them into custody also located Aguilar's belongings including a credit card with his name on it.
Although he has not been found authorities presume, he's still alive.
