LOS ANGELES (KNX) - Comedian Andy Dick was arrested on a felony domestic charge Monday afternoon in Los Angeles.
Dick was booked into Men’s Central Jail; however, the LASD Inmate Information site showed the 55 year old only spent three hours in jail before he was released on $50,000 bail.
Police responded to Dick’s L.A. area home after he reportedly smacked his partner on the head with a bottle and cut him, TMZ reported. Dick was arrested after police determined there had been enough evidence to arrest the comedian.
Dick has an extensive and public history in legal troubles. Over the years, he has faced a legion of charges including but not limited to drug possession, indecent exposure, and sexual battery. He has also been accused of groping by several women and men.
Back in June, the Newsradio actor was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. His then-fiancé, Elisa Jordana, discussed the incident on her YouTube channel “Kermit and Friends” and disclosed that Dick “hit his lover Lucas with a metal chair”, according to Page Six.
Dick is scheduled to be in court for his latest incident on Mar. 7, 2022.
