The Santa Cruz coast was shook by a minor earthquake early Wednesday morning.
A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck Monterey Bay at 2:57 a.m. on Sept. 22, the United States Geological Survey reported.
The quake was centered halfway between Santa Cruz and Monterey, about 7.4 miles west of Moss Landing, and had a depth of 8.5 kilometers.
433 people reported to USGS that they had felt the quake.
