Music streaming service Spotify and messaging platform Discord experienced global outages Tuesday as hundreds of thousands of users reported issues.

According to Downdector, 171,439 Spotify users reported experiencing complications at around 10:25 a.m.
Many were left frustrated when the music streaming service logged them out of their account and barred them from logging back in.
"Something's not quite right, and we're looking into it. Thanks for your reports!," Spotify Status posted to Twitter. The company revealed at around 11:40 a.m. that the service was back up and running.
"Many customers were recently having problems logging in and reaching customer support. Things are looking better, but if you’re still having issues, please reach out to us," Spotify Status encouraged.
74% of people reported issues with the app while 16% reported issues with the website and the remaining 10% reported issues with audio streaming.
Simultaneously, the instant messaging and digital distribution platform Discord also experiencing problems Tuesday morning.
"We're aware of an issue causing message failures and are working on a fix. Apologies for the disruption & thx for hanging tight!" Discord wrote in a tweet. "Time to go outside everyone," the company added.
At 12:03 p.m. the company alerted Twitter followers that Discord is back up and running.
