AI industry faces growing scrutiny as leaders call for changes

A call by some top tech CEOs to slow down the development of AI is being met with everything from support to skepticism. Starting Monday morning, crews are removing nearly 100 mature trees across San Francisco's famous Embarcadero Plaza.
