Fox teases Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in new ad

With the NFL releasing its schedule this week, New Orleans will look ahead to one date in particular, Feb. 9, 2025, as the Caesars Superdome will host this year’s Super Bowl.

For the 11th time in the history of the NFL, the Super Bowl will be decided in New Orleans, tying the league record for the number of times a city has hosted.

Super Bowl LIX will be the eighth played in the Superdome, as the first three were played at Tulane Stadium.

Fox, the television host for this year’s big game, released a trailer for the season and the game on Wednesday. In it, the network’s mascot can be seen wandering Las Vegas and the desert after last year’s Super Bowl.

But then, as he’s walking, the mascot is picked up by a party bus with jazz music and people with costumes reminiscent of Mardi Gras inside.

One of the trumpet players then begins playing Fox’s iconic football theme song, and as the robot football player starts to dance, the bus takes off for New Orleans.

In response to the trailer, WWL Radio’s voice of the Saints, Mike Hoss, shared his excitement online.

“I love it, but frankly, there are a few too many snakes for my liking—1 is too many,” Hoss wrote on X, referencing parts of the ad. “But it looks good, and I can’t wait.”
