Another raccoon tests positive for rabies in Allegheny County.
This one found on Ganster Street in Etna.
It's the 15th rabid animal confirmed this year in the county.
Residents are reminded to stay away from wild and stray animals, and have pets vaccinated.
If a rabid animal is suspected, call local police or the game commission.
The virus can be transmitted by a scratch or bite from a rabid animal, and is almost always fatal when not treated.
