Several people were treated for smoke inhalation from a 3 alarm apartment building fire in Beaver Falls.
It broke out at a 12-story Beaver Falls Plaza on 7th Avenue. Cindy Kline who lives on the 6th floor heard the alarm and smelled what turned out to be a kitchen fire on the 4th floor.
"We were told to put a towels or a blanket under the door so that we didn't get anything but they're cement between each apartment so you cannot catch fire from another apartment, this building's really, really safe, I love it," said Kline.
Kline adds there were two children in the apartment cooking alone at the time and have been "warned on their life" not to cook in the apartment.
She believes it was a grease fire that started the blaze.
At least 12 of the apartments were evacuated and none of the injuries were serious.
