PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - An eighth Port Authority worker has now tested positive for COVID-19.
The maintenance worker was last at work in the West Mifflin garage on April 10 and is now in self-quarantine.
That employee worked in the same areas as three others who tested positive for coronavirus in the past week.
Port Authority has now reduced maintenance workers to a skeleton crew at that garage.
The Authority currently has 76 of its employees held out of work pending COVID-19 testing.
Forty-eight employees have returned to work after testing negative.
