PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - In Allegheny County's daily update of the Coronavirus Monday, the number of confirmed cases grew by 13 with six new deaths.
The total number of cases in the county is now at 1,224. Of those, 1,190 are confirmed and 34 are probable cases.
Of those cases 169 are in healthcare workers, 14 percent of the total cases in the county.
A total of 79 people have now died as a result of COVID-19 in Allegheny County.
Of those deaths, 72 are confirmed (had a positive test) with seven probable. A probable death is one where COVID-19 is on the death certificate but never has a positive test for coronavirus.
The age of those who have died range from 42-103 and 84 being the median age.

There are also no additional hospitalizations in the county with the total number of those treated remaining at 213 past or present.
