Monroeville, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A Black Lives Matter protest is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Monroeville.
According to images posted on social media, the protest is scheduled to take place "in the streets in between Chic-Fil-A and Chipotle" from 1pm to 6pm along Route 22.
In a Facebook post Monday afternoon, Monroeville Police say they're aware of the scheduled protest. "We are aware that there is a protest planned for Tuesday June 9th from 1pm to 6pm on Route 22 around the area of Chick-fil-A, and are taking the necessary measures to ensure public safety."
