PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A massive water main break has prompted a large precautionary boil water advisory. According to Pennsylvania American Water, the earliest the boil advisory could be lifted would be Sunday morning.
Penn American Water website lists the following road closure: Becks Run Road, between Agnew and Carson Street until further notice
The break forced the cancelation of over 10 schools and displaced a few families.
Those affected are advised to bring water to a rolling boil and to let it boil for one minute before use.
