Monroeville, Pa (Newsradio 2010 KDKA) - Boyce Park in Monroeville is open once again.

This morning, the park had been closed so crews could clean up a number of fallen trees throughout the park.

Friday afternoon, the Allegheny County Parks Department said "All roads in Boyce Park have been cleared of downed trees and are now open to traffic. However, many trees remain down on trails throughout the park, and some trails are completely impassable. Please use extreme caution when using trails and other areas of the park.."

Storms moved through the Pittsburgh area Thursday night bringing heavy rains and high winds and causing thousands to lose power.

Due to numerous downed trees, Boyce Park will be closed until further notice to allow crews to conduct cleanup operations. pic.twitter.com/eZmRdqk1MO
