Boyce Park Wave Pool Closed For Emergency Repairs

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Boyce Park wave pool is closed for emergency repairs.

The Allegheny County Facilities Management and Parks departments say it will be closed for up to ten days.

The pool started losing water Friday due to a malfunctioning valve.

Staff started draining the pool Monday evening and repairs will take place after the pool is completely drained. That usually takes three to four days.

Pools in North, Settlers Cabin and South parks will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.
