(Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A brewery in sunny Bradenton, Florida is doing its part to get dogs in the area adopted.

Motorworks Brewing has released “Adoptable Dog Cruiser Kolsch” with proceeds benefiting the local Shelter Manatee.

The funds will go toward building a new facility for the shelter.

Motorworks says the beer is “Brewed with pilsner & wheat malt, this light German Kölsch-style ale boasts a brilliant gold clarity and soft, fruity sweetness, while German noble hops lend an approachable bitterness. With a clean, slightly dry finish, Cruiser is a crisp, refreshing, über quaffable light beer.”

So if you’re heading to Florida for Pirates Spring Training you might want to help out the pups down there!

Motorworks is located at 1014 9th Street West Bradenton and soon in Orlando at131 N Orange Ave Suite 106.

The folks at Motorworks tell KDKA Radio they'll already getting ready for all the Pittsburghers who are coming down for Spring Training.
