BRIDGEVILLE (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Bridgeville Police Department hostsed its annual "Shop with a Cop" on Friday, featuring officers from Bridgeville Borough, Collier Township and Scott Township, and started at the Scott Township Walmart.
The police officers worked together to take students Christmas shopping on Friday.
After the shopping, the students and officers took a break for a snack and even had a snowball fight inside the store.
Eventually, all the participants moved from Walmart to the Collier community center where Santa and his reindeer were waiting. Lunch was also waiting, and was provided by Mission BBQ and the Rennerdale Corner Store.
The 2019 “Shop with a Cop” featured a big showing, and had the Police Department “feeling fantastic” about the holiday event.
