PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - It's going to be a colder and snowy New Year's Eve around Pittsburgh.
Accuweather Meteorologist Issac Longley tells Robert Mangino on KDKA Radio that a strong cold front moving through the area will lead to snow showers Tuesday afternoon.
Longley predicts a coating to an inch with snow squalls possible, especially in the afternoon.
Roads should be warm enough that the snow will only cover grassy surfaces.
But, temperatures will bottom out around 26 overnight allowing for any wet roads to possibly freeze, especially on bridges and overpasses.
