PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Domino’s is set to hire 120 new team members across the Pittsburgh area.
There are 38 locations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh region that are looking to hire.
Domino’s is currently looking to fill the following positions: delivery drivers, customer service representatives, managers, and assistant managers.
Domino’s has shifted gears to highlight sanitization and cleanliness practices during the pandemic.
Pittsburgh franchise owner Sheldon Port spoke on the balance of a booming delivery industry with the safety of its workers and customers during coronavirus:
"The increased demand for deliveries has amplified the need for additional team members.
"Stores across the region are continuing to provide pizza to those who are looking for a delicious, hot meal, and at times like this, staffing is critical," said Port.
Domino’s is hoping that the new positions will give opportunities to workers who might have been affected by other COVID-19 related job losses.
"Our hearts go out to those who have lost their jobs or face reduced hours due to the pandemic," continued Port.
"Domino’s is a great place to work and our stores provide a fantastic opportunity to those who show initiative and a desire to advance."
