PITTSBURGH (KDKA 1020) - Local beermaker, East End Brewing Company, has released a new line of exclusive hyper-regional beers.The new beers in the YOU ARE HERE series will represent the Fairywood, Garfield, and Northview Heights areas.The Fairywood is “a 7.1% Coconut Stout, brewed for Pittsburgh’s westernmost neighborhood”, which will debut in the Cellone’s Bread Company’s lobby Friday, November 8 from 3-5 p.m.

We are promoting Pittsburgh’s most mysterious and westernmost neighborhood, FAIRYWOOD and it's whereabouts with the release of our first-ever Coconut Stout. This 7% ABV is a great drinker in this fall season. All natural “coconut smiles” were infused to this brew giving a nice undertone of coconut. A nice, sweet finish and minor hop presence compliments the coconut notes. This will be available at the brewpub today and soon on nitro too. The Garfield brew is “a hazy, citra-forward 6.5% IPA”, and it will be released at the Spak Brothers in Garfield on Thursday, November 14 from 5-7 p.m.
The Northview Heights beer is “a rich, malty 9.0% Stock Ale”.
