PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The first of 59 new Port Authority buses are hitting the streets.
These are 40 foot, so-called clean diesel buses manufactured in California and then driven to Pittsburgh.
Clean diesel means they burn less sulfur than regular diesel fuel.
"From the inside, the difference is going to be those USB ports which is a little bit of a creature comfort, it's a new thing and the first time we've had it," said Brandolph.
The Port Authority will also receive its first two electric buses by the end of the year.
