PITTSBRUGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — A fourth Greek life organization is under investigation for hazing at the University of Pittsburgh.
The Pitt News reports the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity’s new member privileges are restricted during the probe.
The Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and the Chi Omega sorority chapters were placed under similar restrictions less than a week prior. The school suspended its Phi Kappa Theta chapter the same day, ceasing all fraternity operations.
All Greek life organizations at Pitt were under modified probation for most of 2018 after a string of incidents involving hazing and alcohol before the Vice Provost and Dean of Students released a community action plan to address the issue.
