Georgia Murder Suspect Turns Self Into Pittsburgh Police

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — A man wanted for a murder in Georgia turned himself into Pittsburgh Police early Wednesday morning.

22-year-old Austin Todd Stryker and two other men are charged in the murder of 21-year-old Hannah Bender from Lumpkin County, Georgia last month. Stryker was spotted in Clay County, West Virginia last week.

Austin Todd Stryker has turned himself in. He is in police custody in Pennsylvania. Efforts to return him to GA are in progress.

Pittsburgh Police say Stryker called them and Zone 3 officers took him into custody in Mount Washington at Virginia Ave. and Maple Terr.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says extradition efforts are underway.
