A new Ghostbusters movie is officially in production!
Jason Reitman, son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman is slated to direct the movie that is not a reboot and takes place in the same universe the original Ghostbusters movies took place.
Reitman says while he has "respect" for the 2016 reboot, that movie will not have any ties to this new installment.
