HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Governor Tom Wolf signed a bi-partisan bill Monday that passed unanimously in both the State House and Senate that will help local communities and businesses across Pennsylvania.
The bill will allow notarization of documents online so PA auto dealerships can resume sales.
The bill also provides flexibly on property tax deadlines and allows remote public meetings.
“This bipartisan legislation gives local governments and businesses additional options to help property taxpayers and address various needs,” said Gov. Wolf. “COVID-19 remains a very real threat and each of us needs to continue doing our part to cut back on physical interactions. This new law is a measured and safe way to provide relief as we continue to monitor the spread of the virus.”
A release from the governor’s office says the bill will do the following:
