PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf says he's willing to look at efforts in the state legislature to revise the justification standard for police involved shootings after the Antwon Rose verdict.

Several lawmakers have talked about changing the law for when police officers may fire on a fleeing suspect among them local PA Representative Ed Gainey.

Wolf says he has yet to see the bill but is willing to look at it.

“I haven’t’ seen his bill and haven’t talked to him about that but I have all great respect for Representative Gainey and I think he’ll come up with some good ideas,” said Wolf.

The consideration comes a week after former East Pittsburgh officer Michael Rosfeld was found not guilty in the shooting death of Antwon Rose last June.
