PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A small group of noisy protesters are still outside Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto’s house in Point Breeze, but police have declared an unlawful assembly.

Hundreds of demonstrators marched there last night calling for Peduto’s resignation after plainclothes police officers arrested a man and put him in an unmarked van during a protest Saturday.

Members of the group say they will stay there until Mr. Peduto comes out and talks to them.

At the same time on Twitter a group that wants to abolish police is calling on people to "join the *ongoing* protest and occupation in front of Bill Peduto’s house" saying "the mayor has - again - not answered the call. He only gets to hide if we let him."

On Monday Peduto released the following statement, "It is hard to find the words for how livid I was after seeing the online videos of the disturbing arrest at Saturday's protest,” Mayor Peduto said. “I have taken the time to review all the video and information that has been made available to me. As Mayor, I will never tolerate these tactics being used at peaceful protests again."

On Tuesday night 1Hood media posted a video of the protesters marching on Peduto’s house with music playing.

This is the third time protesters have marched on Peduto's home this summer.
