Hallmark Dumps Loughlin Amid Bribery Scam

PITTSBURGH (News Radio 1020 KDKA) – Lori Loughlin is out at the Hallmark Channel.

According to a release obtained by the Associated Press, the actress under fire for her involvement in the college bribery scam has been let go for her role in the show “When Calls the Heart.”

Hallmark Cards Inc. said in a statement “We are saddened by the recent allegations surrounding the college admissions process, we are no longer working with Lori Loughlin” and have stopped development of all productions with the actress for Crown Media channels.

Loughlin played Abigail Stanton in the series.

The scandal has also affected Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli’s daughter, YouTube star Olivia Jade Giannulli, she was dropped from Sephora.
