PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh's Art Commission will hold a special hearing and public comment period with reference to the Christopher Columbus statue in Schenley Park.
The hearing will take place Thursday, September 17 at 5:30 pm and can be live-streamed on Pittsburgh City Planning's YouTube channel.
During the hearing, history and context of the statue will be presented before opening it up for public comment. Those wishing to provide testimony at that time can do so verbally during the hearing, by completing the feedback form on this city webpage, or by sending a letter.
