PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) Beginning next week, Idlewild and Soakzone will only be open three days of the week.

The ongoing struggle with coronavirus has caused amusement parks to run under new restrictions like a cap on attendance and the use of facemasks.

Idlewild joins Kennywood Park as a local park that will be adjusting their operating schedule.

Idlewild and Soakzone announced on Friday that it will only be open for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays this season.

This movement also comes the same week they removed Tuesdays and Wednesdays from their schedule.

Beginning next week, we will be open Fridays through Sundays. We are doing everything possible to operate as normal during these uncertain times. However, like many businesses, we need to adapt and this includes changes to our hours of operation. Thank you for support. pic.twitter.com/FVj4mla9bg
