Culver City, CA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - 'Jeopardy!' Host Alex Trebek announced via the show's social media accounts that he plans to return to tape it's 36th season.

Trebek, 78, announced he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March, but vowed to continue filming as the host of the long-running quiz show.
Wednesday was the final day of taping for the 35th season, and Trebek thanked everyone who had reached out with messages of encouragement and said he was feeling good. He also looked ahead to the show's next season.
"We, by we, the staff, is already working on our next season, the 36th year of 'Jeopardy!'. So, I look forward to seeing you once again in September with all kinds of good stuff."
According to the show's website, taping occurs from July to May.
