PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center will livestream four radio plays from September through December.
They will include "War of the Worlds," "Vintage Hitchcock," "A Christmas Carol," and "It's a Wonderful Life."
"These adaptations are perfectly adapted to be streamed in a radio broadcast setting," says Justin Fortunato, Producing Artistic Director for the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, during an interview with the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Friday.
"We're pulling out every trick in the book from a live musician, to digital sound effects, digital sound mixing - to a live Foley artist making some of the sound effects, you know, with actual props," Fortunato explains. "It's going to be a way to transport yourself back 80 years to what this medium was."
You can find the links to the shows on their website.
