
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A man accused of videotaping fellow employees inside a bathroom at West Penn Hospital has turned himself in to authorities.
Former employee, 52-year-old Guy Caley turned himself in on Friday.
According to an affidavit, back in December 2019, a recording device was discovered in a unisex bathroom.
A female victim says she was seated on the toilet when she “noticed a black device taped to a chair located directly across from the toilet.”
The bathroom is accessible to employees only.
Highmark Police investigated and determined the device was a video/audio recorder.
At least five victims were recorded without their consent.
Caley told investigators he was “curious” about what he would capture and would download the files on his home computer.
Caley is charged with three counts of illegal use of wire or oral communications and three counts of invasion of privacy.
The Allegheny District Attorney’s office believes there may be additional victims and ask anyone that recognizes Caley and believes they may be a victims to contact the D.A.’s office at 412-388-5300
