McKeesport Gang Confrontation Led To Shots Being Fired At Monroeville Mall

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Six people face charges for an April 12 shooting at Monroeville Mall in which no one was injured.

At a news conference Thursday with Monroeville officials Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala said two groups of young men arrived at the mall before 8 p.m.

“There’s indication by video that they recognized each other,” said Zappala. These groups kind of were at odds down in McKeesport. Half the group goes back to Crawford village, half the group goes back to Harrison village.”

One of the suspects, 21-year-old Brandon Noel got a gun and fired 14 times at the Crawford village gang. Nobody was hit.

Noel and four others Charged are: Treysaun A. Lockett-Tillman, 21, Jared A. Ogrosky, 21, Brandon Murphy, 24, and Fordery A. Morris, 20 and Jamaal F. Abdul-Rabb, 22 were arrested

They all face counts of simple assault, rioting and disorderly conduct,

Noel is also charged with attempted homicide.

Police are still searching for the 6th suspect.
