PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Tuesday to discuss the 2020 Presidential Campaign, defunding the police, how to stop the violence in U.S. cities and more.

Gov. Whitmer said she does not agree with the idea to defund the police.

“I don’t know many Democrats who are actually suggesting that,” Whitmer said on Tuesday during the KDKA Radio Morning Show. “The fact of the matter is: Democrats understand our police are an important part of having safe communities.”
