
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A microburst touched down in Lawrenceville and Millvale on Saturday night, the National Weather Service confirmed.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the roof of one building at Butler and Plummer streets in Lawrenceville was torn off due to the winds, and another building at Butler and 48th street partially collapsed.
“It looked like a tornado came through” Cara Cruz, the public safety spokeswoman, said.
No one was living in either building at the time.
